Vijayakanth on Sunday donated Rs 10 lakh to the Tamil Nadu chief minister’s relief fund.
Chief minister and DMK president M K Stalin met actor and DMDK president Vijayakant, who has not been keeping good health for the last couple of years, at the latter’s residence in the city.
Senior leader and DMK party treasurer S Durai Murugan accompanied Stalin on the goodwill visit.
DMDK treasurer and wife of Vijayakant, Premalatha and her brother L K Sudeesh were also present.
